I cleaned egr and intake manifold 2 times on my bmw. Because I need to replace my glow plugs and also solve some thermostat leak, I also decide to block egr valve.
I bought blanking plate on ebay. I drilled 6,5mm hole in it, because I hoped I won’t need remapping again.
I also replaced all seals on intake manifold. I must say car is far much responsible. You can feel more torque and consumption is now 0.7 liter lower.
Maybe I should drill a bit bigger hole, because one time engine light comes on, with message that it doesn’t get enough gas from exhaust.
